Issues with hyperlinks in media-text block since 6.7

I faced this too! Adding display: inline to override the display: inline-block worked for me without affecting layout. You could also try setting a fixed width/height for images if needed.

Take a look at the feedback there. Then test your findings with a standard theme and see if it also happens there.

I also noticed on your site that the problem only seems to exist in Chrome. It is fine in Firefox.

The problem exists with both the twenty-twenty-four and the twenty-twenty-five themes. So it’s not because of my test theme. The problem also exists in Chrome and Opera. Safari not tested. It works fine in Firefox.

So it’s really very interesting why the post was closed by the developers. It clearly indicates a WordPress problem.

If you have a reproducible scenario, open an issue with the Gutenberg team and describe it so that a developer there can reproduce it.

You’ve already got some great feedback. The problem has already been fixed. The correction will probably be included in the next release of WordPress. Until then, you can use the manual solution mentioned above.
