Recommendations: best searchable theme for use as a database

    I’m looking for your opinions on the best WordPress theme to build a simple, query-able, searchable database.

    Being more specific, I’d like to build a database in which I can list biological species found in a particular region, cross-referenced with other data.

    Something like, https://www.eol.org/, for example, but with a more specific emphasis.

    All suggestions very welcome.
