    Hi @janardhanjp

apologies that your original topic did not receive a reply
Can you and @imranmalix try disabling plugins and child themes to test for any conflicts.

I tried that, disabled plugins etc. But didn’t work.

I don’t know when WordPress will fix the bug. I apprehend any damage to the website in the meantime.

    Hi there,

For now, one solution is to roll back to the previous version of WordPress, as version 6.7 might have some issues with the Customizer. This will give us some time to test and replicate the problem.

How can we get back to previous version of WordPress

I have been using GeneratePress for years, and just installed it on a new WordPress install (6.7), and when I go to Customize the theme, as I’ve always done – now it only shows “Widgets” and “Premium Modules Available.” All of the usual options to customize the look (upload logo), font styles, etc. are not available. Reading this thread, I thought maybe I need an earlier version of WordPress, so I rolled it back to 6.6.1, but none of the Customize options are there. There is still a free version of GeneratePress from what I understand, so I’m not sure why I can’t customize the way I have for years.

    Hi @marvmckay66,

Have you tried disabling all plugins? And if you are using a child theme, switch to the parent theme to test.

And what is the GP theme version you are using?

    Let me know ??

    Hi @yingscarlett

Thanks for your feedback. Yes, I tried disabling plugins, and while I had these issues with a GeneratePress Child Theme (downloaded from their own GP forums, which I’ve successfully used before), I also checked with activating the parent GeneratePress theme, and the same limited “Customize” options were there in both/all circumstances. The parent GP theme is version 3.5.1. If it helps to further explain, when I click on “Widgets,” it doesn’t actually let me work with widgets, but rather says “Your theme has 10 widget areas, but this particular page does not display them. You can navigate to other pages on your site while using the Customizer to view and edit the widgets displayed on those pages.” And below that it only says “Premium Modules Available.” As far as the “Customizer” as noted in the Widgets item, there is a “Customize” link under “Appearance” (as it always has been), but I don’t see the separate “Customizer” link or button anywhere.

I am using Generatepress theme. Yesterday WordPress has released and installed a follow up Version stating,

” WordPress 6.7.1 is now available!

This minor release features 16 bug fixes throughout Core and the Block Editor.

WordPress 6.7.1 is a fast-follow release with a strict focus on bugs introduced in WordPress 6.7. “

But when I verified the Cusomize buttons vast spacing still persists. I have cleared all Cache. But no change.

spacing of customize buttons occurred after update of WordPress to 6.7

However, today the customize buttons returned to their original place when I disabled a Plugin: CheckoutWC.

But my problem is that this CheckoutWC plugin is doing well for me. Can someone suggest me a way out so that I can re-enable CheckoutWC and regain Customize’s original setting.

    Hi there,

contact the CheckoutWC plugin developer, they will need to fix that in their code.
