• I installed TranslatePress free plugin to my WP website, translated to other language – everything looked good, but when I made this (second) language default, it started make the loop of refreshing the page.
Before I tried to write some code to automatically detect which language (page of which language) should be loaded and when I started my code, appeared refreshing loop, then thought that my code is bad, restored files in server and then tried to change default (main) language.

    Mine system:
    WordPress 6.7
    Astra 4.8.5
    PHP 8.1.27
    Elementor 3.25.6

Tell me, how to fix this issue of refreshing, what to do?

    Help me colleagues, please! ??

P.S. When I disabled translatePress plugin, everything started to be normal.

    Hello,

Firstly, make sure that you are using the latest version of our TranslatePress plugin.

Next, try to verify that the issue is persisting when you do not reorder the languages and keep the default language as is.

You mentioned that you tried to write some custom code. It is important to ensure that you have completely removed any of this leftover custom code from your server which could be causing problems.

You specified that the issue resolves when disabling TranslatePress plugin. So, we can assume the plugin might be conflicting with some other components of your WordPress site, so you should try a compaitlbity test where to keep active only our plugin and check if the issue persists.

?Please let us know if you continue to face this issue after performing these steps.

    Best Regards,

I am also facing the same issue with the cart and checkout pages. I tried all the steps you mentioned above. but the issue is the same.

    Hi,

Since this looks a lot like a conflict with some other code, the first/next recommended step is the conflict test (ideally in a staging environment):

??Briefly disable all other plugins and enable the default Twenty Twenty theme. If this fixes the problem, enable everything one by one or in small chunks, checking each time to see when the problem returns.

    Kind Regards,
