• Unfortunately, I have another bug. I’m trying to add a slideshow to a post (MetaSlider Plugin) and it shows up fine in the preview, but disappears when I publish the post. It should look like this one, which was published before the update: https://www.canadianfamily.net/home-holidays-2024-canadian-gift-guide/ The new post shows up, but without the slideshow.

Is there an ETA for V6.7.1? There seems to be some site-crippling bugs that require an ASAP fix, so I’m hopeful it won’t be long.

    Thank you!

Did you acquire that plugin from https://www.metaslider.com ?

If so, since that’s a commercial plugin, and you need support, please go to their official support channel. In order to be good stewards of the WordPress community, and encourage innovation and progress, we feel it’s important to direct people to those official locations.

Forum volunteers are also not given access to commercial products, so they would not know why your commercial theme or plugin is not working properly. This is one other reason why volunteers forward you to the commercial product’s vendors. The vendors are responsible for supporting their commercial product.

The issue isn’t with the plugin. It’s a problem that only started after the WP update, and other posts using the plugin before that are fine.

It’s still a problem with the plugin’s functionality though.

There is no way that the volunteers who develop WordPress for free can guarentee compatibility with every plugin. There are over 59,000 in the free directory alone.

Instead, we count on plugin and theme developers to test their own products during the extensive pre-release cycle: https://make.www.ads-software.com/core/6-7/

It sounds like MetaSlider’s developer may not have, so they will need to confront that now and make any fixes necessary: https://www.metaslider.com/support/
