    Hi there,

I am using the Yoast SEO plugin version 23.8 and running WordPress version 6.7 and getting a warning below:

Notice: Function _load_textdomain_just_in_time was called?incorrectly. Translation loading for the?wordpress-seo?domain was triggered too early. This is usually an indicator for some code in the plugin or theme running too early. Translations should be loaded at the?init?action or later. Please see?Debugging in WordPress?for more information. (This message was added in version 6.7.0.) in /app/wp-includes/functions.php on line 6114?Function _load_textdomain_just_in_time was called <strong>incorrectly</strong>. Translation loading for the <code>wordpress-seo</code> domain was triggered too early. This is usually an indicator for some code in the plugin or theme running too early. Translations should be loaded at the <code>init</code> action or later. Please see <a href="https://developer.www.ads-software.com/advanced-administration/debug/debug-wordpress/">Debugging in WordPress</a> for more information. (This message was added in version 6.7.0.) Is there a fix you’d suggest for this or is there an upcoming plugin update to resolve the warning?

    Thank you in advance!

Additionally, there is an error when trying to load the sitemap by navigating to sitemap_index.xml.

This page contains the following errors:
error on line 2 at column 1: Start tag expected, '<' not found
Below is a rendering of the page up to the first error.

There was no more information below this error message. Would you be able to help resolve the issue?

I found the same issue when I updated my WordPress to version 6.7.0 so I tried to update the Yoest plugin to Version 23.8 too but it still appear this error.

Notice: Function _load_textdomain_just_in_time was called incorrectly. Translation loading for the wordpress-seo domain was triggered too early. This is usually an indicator for some code in the plugin or theme running too early. Translations should be loaded at the init action or later. Please see Debugging in WordPress for more information. I hope WordPress or Plugin Developer will fix this soon.

    Hello @haenaleap

I’m sorry about the error you encountered. Please update to Yoast SEO v23.9. If the issue continues, kindly share your site health info with us via Pastebin. You can find it in WordPress > Tools > Site Health > Info

Even after updating to 23.9 the errors still

I have the same problem and as Marco reports even after updating to 23.9 the problem is still there

    Same here…

I am also having this problem. My hosting provider seemed to think it was Events Calendar Pro. Can’t get a straight answer out of anyone. I updated all the plugins through CPanel because the site was in such a bad state that I couldn’t log in normally. It was just warning after warning all the way down the screen. I’m at Yoast 23.9, so that didn’t help.

Same here. I’m using Yoast SEO Premium and Yoast SEO: News. Looks like the problem with “_load_textdomain_just_in_time” caused by the “wordpress-seo-news”:

PHP Notice: The function _load_textdomain_just_in_time was called incorrectly. Loading translations for the domain wordpress-seo-news was run too early. This is usually an indicator that some code in a plugin or theme is running too early. Translations should be loaded at init or later. More information can be found in Debug WordPress.
