[Plugin: Rotating Posts] different categories

  • Hi this is one good plugin but i have a query to clear. This plugin allows to set either to show all the categories or to show specific categories.. It is possible to disable any specific category from appearing. For example uncategorized categories. I tried the shortcut code … but it has options to show only specific category

    [rotating-posts category_name=”cat1″]
    i wanted something like
    [rotating-posts category_name=”cat1″,”cat2″]

    is it possible to do so like that ?

    Try this:

    [rotating-posts category_name=”cat1,cat2″]

    can this be modified for the rotation to fade between posts?

    Fading would require flash, html5, or some other similar technology; something I do not plan to use with the plugin.

    can we use caterogy id instead?

    I am converting a customers site to WordPress and am using [rotating-posts] on a static home page which is working great. Problem is I am getting comments at the bottom of the (home) page even though I have “Display Comments” turned off in the settings.

    I want to have comments on the individual post when you go to the post page, but not on the home page.

    What should I do?
