• Hello, is there a way to give users the ability to remove items from the mini cart seen on the checkout page (where the user provides his address just before being taken away to the payment gateway)? To do that, users have to go back to the basket page. Can they do that without leaving the checkout page?

    Hello robaczek1,

Thank you for contacting WooCommerce support.

I understand you want users to remove items from the mini cart directly on the checkout page without needing to return to the basket page.

Could you share your site’s URL? I’d like to check how the mini cart is currently functioning to guide you more effectively.

Looking forward to your response. ??

Thank you for getting back to me. I didn’t mark this thread as NSFW, so I would prefer not to share the URL here. Any other way you can guide me?

    Hi there!

I understand your concern. To assist you further, could you please provide more information about which plugin or theme is adding the mini cart? Without knowing how the mini cart is being displayed, it’s difficult to guide you on how to add a remove (“X”) button.

If the mini cart is being added by a plugin or your theme, I recommend reaching out to their support team to ask if they offer an option to include a “Remove” button for items on the checkout page.

If you’re referring to the product details shown in the “Order summary” section of the checkout page and want to allow users to remove items directly from there, please note:

    • In WooCommerce’s default settings, this section is informational only, and there is no built-in option to remove products directly.

To achieve this, you would need to implement a custom solution, such as adding custom code to enable product removal functionality on the checkout page.

If you need more in-depth support or want to consider professional assistance for customization, I can recommend?WooExperts?and?Codeable.io?as options for getting professional help. Alternatively, you can also ask your development questions in the??WooCommerce Community Slack?as custom code falls outside our usual?scope of support.

    Thank you
