Main menu not working properly

  • The main header menu does not drop down on mobile or desktop. It also does not appear the same on both. On mobile, its an actual button but desktop has a list.

    I understand you’re experiencing issues with your main header menu not dropping down on both mobile and desktop, and also appearing differently on each platform.

    This is quite unusual, but I’ll be happy to help you out.

    As a first step, please try switching to a default theme like Storefront or Twenty Twenty-Four and see if the issue persists. If it does, deactivate all plugins except WooCommerce to see if there’s a conflict. If the issue is resolved, reactivate your plugins one by one to identify the culprit.

    Thank you for a fast response. I am not too savy on the workings of the website as I am just learning as I go.

    If I change themes, will it change the layout of the page and will it change back when I put the current theme back in place?

    Indeed, if you change the theme, this will change the layout of your store. However, you can create a staging site as detailed in this guide. Once the staging site is created, you can then make the tests there to avoid messing with your live store.

    Please be sure to create a back-up before proceeding with the mentioned steps.
