Can't upgrade or upload pictures to posts

  • I do seem to be having problems doing any updating or uploading of pictures for posts to my site?? (WooThemes Upload Error: Image – The uploaded file could not be moved to D:Hosting-96920html/wp-content/uploads/2010/12.)

  • Change the permissions on the wp-content directory to 766. If you still have problems, try 767 or 777. Once your uploads are working, change the permissions on wp-content back to 755 again and check that everything still works OK.

    I have opened up my FileZilla and changes the permissions to all of these and I still get this message:
    “old_phone.jpg” has failed to upload due to an error
    The uploaded file could not be moved to D:\Hosting\5596920\html/wp-content/uploads/2010/02.

    Also notice that I can’t do the Updates. Get this message:
    An error occurred while updating Akismet: Download failed. Could not create Temporary file..
