• Aside to having all notes in the same place, it would be great to have specific notes on specific dashboard pages. Examples:

    • reminder on how to edit a complex block on the page A
    • note on why I’ve done something on the page B
    • instructions/warnings for the customer on page C so they don’t mess up things on that page or in the WooCommerce shipping rates page etc.

The good thing is that WordPress dashboard has specific URLs for most settings and sub-settings pages, so the URL condition should be viable.

An auto-open option would be perfect, especially for critical ones.

Thanks! Just to be super-demanding, the perfect UX for this feature would be a command like “Add a note to the current page”.

+1 to that. Maybe some sort of storing the context of the note. Were I on the settings page when typing in this note? A particular plugin page? If it could be kept super simple, it would be a nice addition to the plugin.
