Header inage

Does the theme have a Header option under Appearance? If not, you’ll need to edit header.php and hard code the image into the #banner table.

No i dont have a header option, I have themes, widgets, memus, theme options and editor.

Do you have the code to be added to header.php

Try replacing:

<table cellspacing="0" cellpadding="0" border="0" id="banner">
<tbody>
<tr><td><h1><?php bloginfo('name');?></h1></td></tr>
</tbody>
</table>

with:

<table cellspacing="0" cellpadding="0" border="0" id="banner">
<tbody>
<tr><td><h1><img src="https://rebootrecords.co.uk/images/header.jpg" width="926" height="203" alt="<?php bloginfo('name');?>" /></h1></td></tr>
</tbody>
</table>

in header.php

Its left a very large gap underneath, do you know how I can remove this?

Edit style css and remove height: 200px; from:

#banner {
    height: 200px;
    padding: 20px 0;
    text-align: center;
    width: 888px;
}

You have added the table markup I gave above instead of replacing the existing table markup. Remove:

<table cellspacing="0" cellpadding="0" border="0" id="banner">
<tbody>
<tr><td><h1><?php bloginfo('name');?></h1></td></tr>
</tbody>
</table>

from header.php

    border-top: 0 solid #181818;
    display: block;
    padding-top: 20px;
    width: 928px;
}

in style.css.
