Gallery looking bad on mobile

Hi, I tried viewing my site on mobile (please refer to screenshot here: https://ibb.co/1nckdkV).

I used the default Gutenberg gallery block (2 columns) to insert 2 images, and put short captions for the images.

Everything looks good on desktop, but in mobile as you can see, the captions cover the entire image.

Because the captions cover the entire image, it is difficult for visitors to tap on the image to enlarge it.

What solutions do I have? Is it possible to make it so that the 2 images stack on top of each other in mobile, instead of appearing side by side?

Or is there a better solution?
