    Hi @anton1001,

The category mapping follows the Google product category mapping: https://www.google.com/basepages/producttype/taxonomy-with-ids.en-US.txt

    The number 9 is 9 – Home & Garden > Decor > Artwork

If you want it to pull the category name use the Category (Not used for Mapping) option or one of the other options.

    Hi Jeff,

Thanks for taking the time to respond! When I change it to ‘Category (Not used for Mapping)’ it shows every level of the product category – see here (not the most specific category ‘boulanger lithographs & oils’ which is the goal). I’m fine if it’s not possible but would this be a problem for g:brand in Google Merchant Center? Thanks!!

    Hi @anton1001 ,

There won’t be any problem with the numbering on the category as this is directly related to Google’s category attribute.

But in BRAND, it’ll likely be read as a number. It’s best to use something like attributes(product editor) and specify the brand there for consistency.

Thank you – I went with ‘‘Category (Not used for Mapping)’ and that seemed to do the trick. Appreciate you sharing the knowledge!
