Assign posts to original authors?

    Is it possible to assign the ownership of the post to the submitting author rather than assigning everything to a specific user? I need to be able to have posts belong to the original user who posted.

    Yes, depending on theme support, there is an option “Registered Username” under the user settings that will use the author’s registered name if they are logged in. There are some other options there as well that may be useful for you. I hope this helps, let me know if I can provide any further information.
