Document Library Pro + ACF don’t work after updating Polylang

  • We have a table showing various documents for download. After updating Polylang no results are found inside the table.

    Disabling Polylang will make it appear again, but then we will not be able to switch language on the site.

    I can see there’s many points related to ACF in the Polylang update log, so I think the issue is related to the fact that the table are using custom taxonomies for filtering, created in ACF.

    I have tried to play a bit with the backend settings for Polylang, but I am not able to make documents show in the table without disabling the plugin.

    What can we do to troubleshoot this more and hopefully fix it?

  • Hey @svw123,

    I had the same problem and was able to solve the problem. You have to assign the individual documents, categories and taxonomies to a language. These will then be displayed again.

    I’m now trying to find a solution for translating the documents. I don’t want to create them all individually. ??
