    Hi.

We have also seen on another website that the new version 3.26 is causing problems with the functionality of woocommerce, with errors when adding or deleting products in the cart.

  • i’m building a new site. (wocommerce, elementor, … etc) there are problems i can’t explain.
then it came to my mind that this problem started after updating this version.
so i checked the forum and bingo. many people with the same problem.

elementor works fine when it works (!). but it gives errors very often.
(lots of safe mode issues etc.)
    sad ??

    Hi, @pozoalcon.

Thank you for reaching out to us. We have reported the issue internally and it is currently being investigated to determine if the issue is related to Elementor, or if WooCommerce needs to release an update on their end to stay compatible with the latest Elementor update and dev deprecations.

Your patience is appreciated as we investigate this. In the meantime, rolling back to the previous version should help.

    Kind Regards.

    Hi.

Before publishing this thread, I posted another one where I mentioned that the new version 3.26 has caused six of my websites to crash. Then I realized that there were other problems on other websites, like the one I mentioned here with woocommerce.

    Thank you.

@aracelil After a long headache, I have discovered the problem and will give you the solution.

You have to go to Elementor > Settings > Features and disable element caching, it is enabled by default.

After this, everything works as it should.

we determined that the new Elementor has a problem with shortcodes inside TEXT widgets, if you put the Shortcodes into the page using Shortcode widget, it will work as expected. Please change the [woocommerce_cart] and [woocommerce_checkout] shortcodes to break them out of text widgets and the issue goes away.

@1callservice If that’s true it’s insane, shortcodes should also work in text widgets!

    Hi @pozoalcon

We have released the?Elementor Core 3.26.2 version on December 19th. For reference: https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/elementor/#developers

This release should solve any problems with shortcodes inside static widgets being cached by Element Caching. Can you please update Elementor to the latest version and let us know if that solved the issue?

Thank you and we apologize for any inconvenience!
