Custom Thank You Page prevents the “Purchase” event from firing?

    I’ve designed a custom thank you page for my site and used a custom code snippet to make woocommerce send the user there after a successful purchase (with credit card).
    Can this be the reason I’ve stopped seeing purchase events show up in my Facebook events manager?
    Is “Facebook For WooCommerce” firing the purchase events based on users landing on the thank you page? isn’t it supposed to be based on the woocommerce hooks?
    (still no live traffic, just doing all the tests before going live with a Facebook campaign)

    Hello, and thank you for reaching out.

    The plugin is made to work with WooCommerce default behaviour, but may not work with custom overrides; as the plugin cannot cover all possible deviations from the WooCommerce checkout flow.

    Our recommendation is to update your flow so that it uses the default checkout page to be able to track the Purchase event.
