Can’t create another wordpress-installation with the same domain

Hallo everybody,

I would like to use the clone plugin to migrate my current wordpress-installation (wich is on a MySQL 5.7 database) to a different empty database (wich would be MariaDB 10.11). I already created that new database, but I am not able to make a new wordpress installation on this database because the installation does not relate to the database but to a domain, wich of course still is (necessarily) connected to the current database/installation. Maybe anyone has a hint for me how to solve this?
