Hi, is there natively a way to “open/show” subcategories of a selected parent category? Instead of having all sub-categories open at once or all the time.

For example, let’s say I have 2 parent categories called T-shirts and Pants.

How to make it so that when I click on a parent category called T-shirts, then it automatically shows sub-categories of that, but not the sub-categories of the other one (e.g Pants)

    Hi @heggyy,

Thank you for reaching out! Could you clarify if you’re referring to:

    1. The frontend display of categories and subcategories for your users (e.g., on a shop or category page)?

    2. Or, the backend when you’re editing a product and selecting categories?

This will help us provide more targeted assistance.

Frontend (What clients/visitors see), backend doesn’t matter.

    Hi @heggyy

Thanks for your response! Just to confirm, are you trying to create a page where clicking a parent category opens a specific subcategory on the right, like a filter for certain products? Something similar to what this extension shows?

Or are you looking for a simple link on a sidebar or navigation bar to a page that uses product category shortcodes to display subcategories?

    Looking forward to your response.

Take this category for example. It has sub-categories which I want to be open on the left side category menu.
