    Hello,

I’m trying to add plain HTML to the header menu:
To do so, I add the “HTML” widget which I thought would be meant for exactly that.

Now I select the “Text” tab to enter plain HTML code directly, but when I add e. g. the tag “[language-switcher]” from a language plug-in there, it automatically adds a “<p>” tag around it which prevents it from working correctly.

But also when adding other HTML code in that field, it always adds this tag around it.

Is there a way I can prevent this from happening or what other option do I have to inject plain/raw HTML into the header menu?

Best regards and thanks in advance
    Andreas

  • Hi,

Unfortunately there isn’t other way of doing this, at least in the free version. In the pro version, you can use one of the Widget Area components, where you ca add the Custom HTML block.

    Kind regards!
