Feed not working

  • Hi all,
    My blog will not auto feed to because through any feeder because the blog is telling auto feeders there are no new posts when in fact there are.
    I have a blog https://www.amethyst-treleven.com/a-witchs-day-blog which used to auto feed via NetworkedBlogs to my Facebook pages but the auto feed no longer works. I have tried Feedburner as well as Google reader and none of them will auto feed.
    NetworkedBlogs testsed this for me and found it is my site that is stopping the auto feed because it tells the pull that there have been no new posts even though there have been. NetworkedBlogs logs came back with the error below where my site says there have been no new posts since 16th Dec when in fact there’s been about 7 or 8 since then!
    How do I fix the blog so that it does recognise new posts and allows auto feeds to retrieve them? It used to work but stopped in the last month or so.

  • There’s absolutely nothing wrong with your blog’s feed.

    Hi Esmi,
    thanks for such a speedy response but in fact there is. Any new post is not auto fed through Networked Blogs (I’m using that as my default) and I have to manually pull it through to get it to reach the Facebook pages. I tried using Google reader and Feedburner and both had the same problem also.
    How do you feel there is no problem?

    The issue is not with your blog’s feed. I actually checked through your feed file. The problem is elsewhere.

    Thanks Esmi, appreciated. Where is the issue? I need to locate the problem so I can fix it. Would you know how I can locate the issue?

    I honestly don’t know where the issue is. Is the feed url correct in Feedburner? Did you factor in that an RSS feed will only be checked every x hours by many feed readers?

    Thanks Esmi, yep the feed url is correct. This is verified by the fact that manual pulls work and all feedburners find the posts eventually, albeit days later. Yep, I also factored in that feedburners only auto pull every few hours. However, with almost 2000 followers via NetworkedBlogs, that’s suppossed to autopull every 10 mins but doesn’t. The problem is not at their end they tell me and they have checked all thier logs for me twice.
    I also noticed with Feedburner and Googelfeed, they too did not auto pull even after the specified time so there is definatley an issue somewhere.
    Thansk for trying though, appreciated.
    Does anyone else have any ideas please?
