I created the token in Cloudflare and added the plugin in the admin panel and when I add the token and save it, it doesn’t work for me and I am getting an error on top

    Last App For Cloudflare? error:

    Cloudflare: 10000: Authentication error

Did you use the link to create the token? Just want to make sure all the permissions are there/correct.

Did you add any secondary restrictions (you can restrict tokens to only work with certain zones and/or IP addresses for example)?

I haven’t made any changes and created the token from the link in the app. I just want to mention that I moved my site from the old domain to the new domain.

I do selected the specific domain that is listed in this thread.

Getting this error on the rules page:

Cloudflare: 9999: access.api.error.not_enabled: Access is not enabled. Visit the Access dashboard at https://dash.cloudflare.com/ and click the ‘Enable Access’ button.

Went digging on some old support topics, and so did run across a thread where a missing permission on the token would cause that same error… (in this case it was the ‘Zone.Zone Settings’ that was missing). I’d say the first thing to check is to make sure all the necessary permissions are set for the token.

If you change the domain of a site, make sure the token has access to the new domain (if you set domain restrictions on a token), and make sure that domain is also on the same Cloudflare account of course.

I’d still triple check your token… make sure all permissions and there and correct, and make sure you didn’t send additional restrictions (like restricting its use to a specific zone or IP addresses).

Thank you, I just compared all the permissions with my other domain where there are no such issues and I am not seeing any differences. So permissions are all there.

Already tried removing the token and recreating it from the plugin and getting the same error.

Is it working generally besides the Access needing to be enabled? Like are you able to see Cloudflare settings?

    Thread Starter tambergirn

    (@tambergirn)

    Nope, everything is greyed out.

    Check this screenshot

Any chance you could post a screenshot of what you are seeing? Unsure what would be greyed out (could be different things).

Also trying to figure out how you could be getting an authentication error but then also a message about needing to enable Access (you would need to be able to authenticate before you could see that message).

Every setting in the plugin is greyed out. It looks like the plugin issue as I moved my site to a new domain. Is it possible to reset the plugin like by deactivating the plugin, then removing any tables from the database and then reactivating the plugin?

There are no special tables or anything it needs as everything is read from your Cloudflare account. If it was working before the domain changed, you might want to remove the token (save it as an empty value), reload the page to make sure the token is gone and then put it back in. Internally it *does* save the Zone ID (which corresponds to your domain) when the token is added. Maybe it’s somehow mucked and trying to use the old zone ID for the new domain?

Beyond that, it’s perfectly safe to delete/deactivate the plugin and then reactivate since all the Cloudflare related stuff is coming from the Cloudflare API.

Still confused on what would be causing those settings to be greyed out… there’s literally nothing that would grey those settings out… so there’s something going on outside the individual settings (can’t imagine what though).

I tried that already and just tried again with no luck, still all settings inside the settings option are greyed out as it is shown in the screenshot above.
