• Hey Ryan,

Great plugin, thank you! Tons of critical features that the native block lacks. However, the most important feature for me is to choose specific posts to display. In the Include Posts field, I’m having trouble reliably finding posts that I know exist. It doesn’t find most of the posts I’m looking for unless they are very recent it seems. I’m typically working on sites with 500+ posts. Any ideas?

If it helps, the Query Loop Post Selector plugin does reliably find the posts I am looking for. And it does seem to work with your plugin. But I’d much rather just use yours without duplicate options, obviously.

Have a couple feature request ideas as well…

    1. Assuming Include Posts works reliably, if there was a way to drag the posts in the UI to reorder, that would be amazing.
    2. The ability to exclude posts (or pages) that are already shown above or elsewhere in a different query loop block (native or advanced) would be awesome to reduce duplicates from showing.

Hi and thanks for using AQL!

Thanks for raising this issue and sorry you’re running into it! I’ve heard of this before but found it hard to replicate. Do these sites have just posts or custom post types as well?

This particular site had one CPT with only a handful of posts that were going away anyway, so I removed it. Same result.

Let me know if you want temp access to the dev site I’m working on to see how it’s behaving.

I would love to try to troubleshoot this one too. In my case, I want to include just one regular page. Things I have in common with @ryantown ‘s setup:

    • this is a page published quite awhile back – 2018 to be exact
    • I have 1 CPT defined, but I’m not trying to find a CPT, just a regular page
    • I can find other pages that are more recent, as well as recent posts

If it makes any difference, the page in question has child pages. Other pages that have children also do not come up, but I’m not sure if that’s a factor with this bug.
