Make Menu Links Look Like Buttons?

  • I’m making a retro page, and I my menu items to look like old crappy 1990’s style website buttons? Like the ones on the retro theme. I’ve tried just using that theme, and it’s okay, but it’s not exactly what I want. But I can’t figure out how to style the menu to look like buttons. Any ideas here?

    It seems that your website isn’t using the Astra theme, and your query doesn’t appear to be related to Astra. I’d recommend posting your question in the general WordPress forum, as it’s better suited for issues arising during a WordPress setup.

    Correct. That site is not currently using Astra. I’m building a staging site with Astra, and I’m trying to make buttons that look like the site that I linked. I don’t want my Astra site to be live before it’s ready.

    That said, I don’t know if there’s a limitation with Astra that wouldn’t allow me to have menu buttons like that site I linked. So I guess my main questions are, within Astra, is it possible to make menu links look like buttons, and if so, how do I do it?

    Currently, the Astra theme does not include the feature you mentioned. It also seems to be a custom requirement that isn’t feasible out of the box.

    Having said that, I would leave this to the forum if there’s someone who can help by sharing custom code or thoughts.
