  • The reason for the error should be visible in the error log. You can find it in your hosting area. If necessary, the support of your hosting can help you.

Alternatively, you could also enable debugging in WordPress. How to do this is described here: https://www.ads-software.com/support/article/debugging-in-wordpress/ – also here the support of your hosting can help you if necessary to edit the file accordingly.

In both cases you should be able to see what the cause is in the logfile.

@chodeath26: please create your own topic for your own issue: https://www.ads-software.com/support/forum/how-to-and-troubleshooting/#new-topic-0

Thank you sir. Actually I have access to ftp. So I was wondering how it could be possible to fix at the ftp server. Thank you

Yes if you open wp-config and set debug mode to true it should print all the errors to the screen. You can then fix the problem / locate it. Sometimes it’sa simple plugin conflict and all you have to do once locating the issue is to go in ot the plugins folder in ftp and put an underscore before the plugin name to disable it. Then once in the admin take the underscore away. The bigger problem is if the plugin is relied upon by the theme though. If it isn’t this method should work fine.

    Hi team,

i intentionally disabled all the plugins but still did not work.

OK, so turn on debug mode please as above. This will show you where the error is. Enable and check, then post in here that you’ve done it and that the errors are showing.

    Hi Team,

I’m unable to spot out the error

What exactly is your problem? Have you edited the wp-config.php and activated the debug mode? Or do you not see a debug.log? Or can’t you find the error log in your hosting?

Actually, I’m unable to access the our wordpress website is not working. And trying to access it. I cant locate the wp-config

You have FTP access according to your text above? Then log in via FTP and check where the WordPress directory is there. It should be located where the 3 directories wp-admin, wp-includes and wp-content are. The wp-config.php is also right there.

If you still don’t see this, contact your host’s support. They can help you with this faster than we can, who are blindly trying to help you here.

    Hi Team,

    Below is what I got inthe error log;

[26-May-2016 00:20:55 UTC] PHP Deprecated: Directive ‘register_long_arrays’ is deprecated in PHP 5.3 and greater in Unknown on line 0
[26-May-2016 03:05:34 UTC] PHP Deprecated: Directive ‘register_long_arrays’ is deprecated in PHP 5.3 and greater in Unknown on line 0
[26-May-2016 16:08:25 UTC] PHP Deprecated: Directive ‘register_long_arrays’ is deprecated in PHP 5.3 and greater in Unknown on line 0
[26-Nov-2016 23:33:33 UTC] PHP Deprecated: Directive ‘register_long_arrays’ is deprecated in PHP 5.3 and greater in Unknown on line 0

WOW PHP version 5.3! You need to upgrade your PHP version to PHP 8 if possible. You may get other conflicts but most plugins and WP don’t really support PHP 5.3 anymore. You can ask your host to do this or do it from your hosting control panel.

These entries are from 2016, so they are 9 (!) years old. Is there nothing more recent?

    (@richiejames)

That is what I got Sir

Where does you find that? In the error log of your hosting? Then please contact your hoster’s support team and ask them to provide you with the latest files. If it is in the debug.log of WordPress, then delete this file and call up the website again – then it should have been recreated by WordPress with up-to-date content (provided you have activated the debug mode as described in the link above).

I have now gotten the debug log. is it okay to post here?
