Most of the referer fields in clicks for the URL https://wbp.bz/amoc are blank. It would be immensely helpful if they were actually populated with the real referer URLs, or at least the domains. Both would be awesome! This would allow us to track the success of our advertising campaigns, but now it is basically not helpful to us. Does the paid version provide this? We are using the free version of Pretty Links.

I am a developer and know that this can be tricky, and most of the times I have needed to get the referer server variable data I needed, I have succeeded in it, so I hope you are amenable to updating the plugin, or letting me know if the paid version has this capability.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi @rockymtnhi,

    We appeciate your valuable feedback!

No referrer can be from bots, but it can also happen if the link is visited directly, or if the page the link was clicked from forbids passing the referrer information.

And lastly, if the page the link is on is HTTPS, but it redirects to HTTP AND?no-referrer-when-downgrade?HTTP header is set – then the referrer is lost also.

The paid version does not offer any differences in handling blank referrers compared to the free version.
