    I’m trying to customize email templates through Email Settings, but when trying to save changes, even simple ones like adding a footer text, “Saving…” button keeps spinning for ever and nothing happens. On the other hand, I was able to edit page and link templates without problems. Any hint on how to solve this will be appreciated.

    Hi Nayeem! Thanks for your quick response. The FireFox console shows two errors and two warnings
    Errors
    -DataCloneError: URL object could not be cloned. // get-iframes.js:9
    -Error: Promised response from onMessage listener went out of scope // 2 vendors.chunk.js:1:525956

    Warnings
    -Downloadable font Glyph bbox was incorrect [followed by long row of glyph ids and other data]
    -This site appears to use a scroll-linked positioning effect. This may not work well with asynchronous panning.

    By the way, I’ve tested this particular function both in localhost and production site, with different installations but with same results.

    I think it may have a conflict between your plugins or theme. You can disable one by one other plugins for testing if there any conflicts. You may also switch theme to another for checking. Please kindly check and let me know.

    Let me say I went through all that. Tested without other plugins, under different themes (Twenty Fifteen and Neve), even under different browsers, to no avail. It’s weird you can’t reproduce the glitch on your side. Will try in an absolutely fresh wordpress installation and let you know. Regards.

    Hi, thanks again for your attention. Console response shows 500 internal server error, both in localhost and production installations, on different servers. If you need additional data, please let me know. Regards.

    Can you please kindly let me know which email template you are trying save? You can also check the PHP log error details related to this issue and share with me what was the error. Please kindly check and let me know.

    I’ve met same error in Default, Panel and Plain templates, so I guessed this glitch affected all of them.
