I have almost the same error since the update, and the site crashed too:

I’m just a graphic designer in charge of the website, so I don’t know how to roll back to a previous plugin version, but i deactived it through the file manager, just to get the website live again.

@casandraaldana Until the problem will be resolved, you can download the previous version 1.39.0 from the bottom of the page here: https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/forminator/advanced/

Use the file manager in CPanel to upload it in /wp-content/plugins/ and unzip it.

After that you can enable the plugin in wp-admin.

If you renamed the folder of the new version, 1.39.1, to something else you will find both of them in wp-admin. Activate just the old one, 1.39.0

Seems like the error was due to FortressDB add-on files still being present, Fortress DB integration in Forminator was removed 2 years ago, as the company/plugin is no longer in development.

The recent update of Forminator v 1.39.1 has changes in class name and it appears the class-fortressdb-forminator.php was throwing the error due to that.

I’m bringing this further to our teams attention so that they are aware of the issues noticed.

In my case, rollback to 1.39.0 was not enough. 1.38.3 is the one that worked

We got further feedback from our Forminator team.

This is because this class was removed. Previously it was marked as deprecated more than 6 months ago, the issue needs to be fixed on FortressDB plugin, a quick fix would be to downgrade the plugin to version 1.38.3 however I would suggest contacting FortressDB support and letting them know about the problem so they fix this on their end.
