v5.0? BIG NO. it is worse than v4

…and still 5 stars? Just wondering.

We appreciate your long-time support and recommendations, and we’re truly sorry that version 5.0 hasn’t met your expectations. Our intention was to simplify the interface. However, we understand the frustration with the limitations, UI/UX changes, and functionality issues and we sincerely apologise for that.

Our team is actively working on improvements to bring back features and functionality. In the meantime, you can revert to version 4.1.7 here.

actually, I have tried several backup plugins before, and BackWPup is the best.

yep, I have reverted back to v4.1.7 for now, and disabled automatic update.

Simply is different thing with lacking.
in v4, I can created several jobs, with different conditions and locations
– daily backup for database, and can selected the tables
– monthly backup for uploads folder, and i can select some of folders
– weekly backup for some others need
– and so on.
