Become unusable. Now a negative example for textbooks.

With update to version 5, important core functions were switched off without prior notice. Beware of an update in a productive environment!
Changing UI and workflows is one thing. Ultimately a matter of taste and nothing more than an inconvenience. However, it is quite another thing to switch off functions that are relevant to users’ security without prior notice!
Apparently, jobs created in previous versions are still executed, but they can no longer be changed. New jobs are limited to a maximum of two and can no longer be timed in the free version . It is completely opaque when exactly the now rudimentary time control options are executed. Only after a long search in the answers here in the forum did I find that, for example, the ‘daily’ execution time is always ‘at midnight’. Fine, but when exactly? At the respective server time? In a specific time zone? Completely non-transparent!
This is simply not acceptable for a security-relevant product!
I don’t need to repeat all the justified complaints of the last few days here. I would just like to say: It’s okay that you want to make more money with your software. In principle, it is also okay to switch off a free version. But not like this!
This add-on is not about a gimmick, but an important part of security architecture. There should have been a timely announcement here!
The fact that no such announcement was made and that the behaviour is completely non-transparent unfortunately only shows that you can no longer trust this company’s software.
