• Removed all of the features I depended on and all the reasons I was using this plugin for backups instead on any of the other options available.

    Missing features include:

    • Multiple backups stored in separate folders
    • Number of backups stored for each backup
    • Different files backed up or ignored for each backup
    • Different DB tables for each backup, essential when dealing with multi-site installations.

    Hi John Heubner,

We’re really sorry to hear that the latest update has impacted the features you relied on for your backup needs. We understand how crucial those features are, especially for managing backups effectively across different setups, including multisite installations.

Our team is actively working on restoring functionality and improving the usability of the plugin by removing the two-job limitation. This will allow you to create and edit as many backup jobs as you wish, enabling you to select files, storage locations, backup frequency, and other settings so that it precisely meets your needs.

In the meantime, if version 4.1.7 better suits your needs, you can roll back to it here.

We truly appreciate your feedback and patience as we work to bring back the flexibility and control you need. We’ll share updates once improvements are made.

    The BackWPup Team
