    Hi there,

I need to make two changes to my site’s appointment system:

    1. Restrict Appointments to Logged-In Users

? I want only registered members to be able to book appointments. Before making an appointment, users should be required to log in to their WordPress accounts.

    2. Limit Appointments Per User (Not by IP)

? Currently, the system tracks the maximum number of appointments based on IP. Instead, I need it to track the limit per WordPress user. This way, I can enforce a daily appointment limit per logged-in user.

Could you suggest the best way to implement these changes? I’d appreciate any guidance.

    Thank you!

    Kaan

    Hi,

We apologize for the delayed response. Regarding your first concern,

    Restrict Appointments to Logged-In Users‘:

You want only registered members to book appointments, requiring users to log in to their WordPress accounts before making an appointment. Our Easy Appointments plugin already has this option.

    • Go to Easy Appointments
    • Click on the Settings.
    • Click on The FullCalendar Shortcode option, enable the first option and save the settings. This will help you achieve the desired outcome.

For your second concern, ‘Limit Appointments Per User (Not by IP)‘: this feature is not currently available. However, we have raised a GitHub ticket for this request and it will be addressed in an upcoming update. We appreciate your patience in the meantime.

    Hi there,

TThank you for your feedback! I’ve implemented the?FullCalendar Shortcode, which now allows users to view calendar entries directly on the reservation page. Additionally, by restricting access to the reservation page to registered members only, I was able to address the issue of ensuring that only members can make reservations in an alternative way.

Regarding the?“Limit Appointments Per User (Not by IP)”?feature, I’m glad to hear it’s planned for a future update! Do you happen to have an estimated timeline for its release?

    Looking forward to your response.

    Best Regards,

    -Kaan
