    Hi,

In vendor/composer/platform_check.php, there is a check for PHP version >= 8.0.0

It makes WordPress crash with a fatal error on a PHP 7.4 host.

    Regards

    Thank you!

(I cannot test it anymore because I subsequently upgraded the server to PHP 8.1)

    Cheers
