Database Table Problems

  • I couldn’t log in, it sends me to a database error page.

    I got this to pop up once,
    MESSGAE:
    One or more database tables are unavailable. The database may need to be repaired.

    added the required code and clicked repair but nothing happened.
    someone please help me!

    If you have phpMyAdmin you can go in and repair the DB that way, but you may need to call your webhost for assistance.

    I use yahoo web hosting.. I wouldn’t know where to start!

    Start with a help ticket to Yahoo and tell them your database has errors and needs to be repaired.

    Ah, it seems that you also felt victim of Yahoo yesterday. I lost all my posts and pages. They could not help me because they don’t provide help with WordPress; they send you to these forums.
    I ended up restoring from a back up though it was from two weeks ago so I lost a whole bunch of entries.
    There is also a plugin that you could use to repair the DB’s if you don’t have PHPMyAdmin installed.

    I used PHPMyAdmin to repair the databases yesterday and when it repaired them, it wiped all my posts.
