    Hey,

I connected with Youtube on the Google Developers Console but my video pages still don’t get the right Schema; they are still missing the uploadDate item. Is there something else I can do?

    Hello @junkes,

I hope things are going well for you.

I’ve tried replicating the same issue on my test site. However, I couldn’t.

Would you mind confirming if you’ve followed the complete guidelines mentioned in this doc: https://wpmudev.com/docs/wpmu-dev-plugins/smartcrawl/#enabling-the-youtube-api, to add Youtube Video API?

Additionally, could you please provide the domain URL so we can look closer?

    Kind Regards,
    Imran Khan

    Hi @junkes

I tested this page from your site /clipe/amor-distante/ and I was able to replicate this issue. We believe the problem is how the videos are added to the post or page. Was the link of the video copied as “Share URL” or did you copy the full URL from the browser bar or maybe you use some page builder module that allowed you to place videos?

    Kind Regards,
    Kris

I did it with the url from the bar, not the “Share url” one, through a custom “oEmbed field” created with Pods Plugin.

    Hello @junkes

I ran some tests in my lab site and was able to replicate this issue, still not sure what is causing this but reported it to our development team for further investigations.

We will get back to you once have further updates.

    Kind Regards

    Hi @junkes,

We have found the issue is more specific with Restricted YouTube API keys only, if keys are not restricted it works fine. You could try switching the keys as a workaround & see if that helps temporarily.

Since we have identified this as a bug and we can acknowledge this will be fixed in a future update, I’ll mark it as resolved for now.

For any new feature updates, you can get notifications on our progress by subscribing to our roadmap at https://wpmudev.com/roadmap/

Once new versions are released, any pertinent changes will be described in the changelog, which you can find at:

Just for information, my API key was already not restricted. Anyway, I’ll wait for updates.
