Play icon not showing on thumbnail

  • Hi, the plugin works great except I can’t get the play icon to show on the thumbnails, this is a problem since then the user doesn’t know there is a video available, since only one image is shown.
    If I inspect the html for the “wpcpv-item” class, it only finds the ones on the main image, none on the thumbnails.
    Is this a known bug? Is there anything I can do to fix it?

    For your information, this is the design scheme of our plugin. The play button is shown on the featured image or images in the Gallery only (1 link per image). It should be placed on the images themselves, not the thumbnails.

    Since the thumbnails are cropped, it requires custom codes to dynamically resize the play button on thumbnails so it can be displayed properly on different devices. This is also dependent on the themes or templates so it’s very difficult.

    In the live demo, the thumbnails have the play button (https://postimg.cc/G9QFLVKb), so I mistakenly thought this was the default layout of your plugin.
    If there is a way to enable or add this functionality I would like to know about it, as without it the plugin is a bit less useful.

    Oh, I got your questions now. so you meant the product image gallery on the single product page, not the shop and archive page or product loop, right?

    In that case, you can kindly provide us with your public site link so we can help you inspect it from our end.

    In case your site was not published yet, you might want to check it further by:

    • Deactivate all other plugins, except WooCommerce and our WPC plugins. Check the functionality to see if it’s working or not.
    • Reactivate other plugins one by one to find the source of the conflict.
    • Change to our WPCstore theme or any other WooCommerce specialized theme to check, such as Storefront.

    This will help you find the source of the conflict.
