    Hello,

I’m using Forminator and currently on version 1.39.3 with a recent update. and I’m getting this error message after updating to version 1.39.3.

There has been a critical error on this website. Please check your site admin email inbox for instructions. If you continue to have problems, please try the?support forums.

I found a fix(?) that to rename fortressdb directory in /wp-content/plugins/forminator/addons/pro to fortressdb_old. But I’m not sure whether it would be a good solution and the plugin functionality is not affected by this.

Appreciate your kind response in this.

    Thank you.

    Hi @sbvi1122

But I’m not sure whether it would be a good solution and the plugin functionality is not affected by this.

That’s the correct workflow. The error is related to an old add-on related to the Fortress DB folder present on your site.

Fortress DB integration in Forminator was removed 2 years ago, as the company/plugin is no longer in development.

The Add-on is no longer in use ie?/wp-content/plugins/formiator/addons/pro/ fortressdb, so deleting the folder or renaming /fortressdb folder should be the correct workflow for now.

    Regards,

    Nithin
