About a month ago I moved a WP site from a sub directory into the root. Everything looked fine with the site but then the administrator noticed that the titles in some posts were showing up twice. Here’s the URL: https://jewishfederationcny.org Specifically these post categories: Around Town and Around the World and 2011 Annual Campaign News

SIde note: it looks fine in Safari (images are missing tho.) but not in Firefox. I viewed both in Mac and Windows environment.

I’ve searched in vain everywhere online but have not found any documentation or answers. Can anyone help out on this? I’m not a coder (however I know enough to be dangerous) so an English answer or one that my 90 year old grandmother could understand would be best.

    Thanks.

  • Because you are using a paid theme, most people will not be able to examine the code for possible causes. You may be able to get help from the theme provider.

I am viewing it in ff and I do not see no double titles. Are you talking about the breadcrumbs? (see below)

You are here: Home / Federation News / SUPER SUNDAY A GREAT SUCCESS!

and then the title of the post

    SUPER SUNDAY A GREAT SUCCESS!

@randinicole, go to the link given and look in the box under ‘Around Town and Around the World’. About half way down you will see ‘CLICK HERE FOR UPDATES ABOUT ISRAEL AND AROUND THE WORLD CLICK HERE FOR UPDATES ABOUT ISRAEL AND AROUND THE WORLD’.

The problem is there, but without seeing the code, it is not possible to find out why.
