Elementor pop up closes after click on anything inside

Hi! I’m going insane. 

I have a pop up with elemento pro, let’s say, with a button or icon inside (WhatsApp, e.g.) that opens WhatsApp on another window. Well, after a user clicks the link inside the pop up, he’ll visit the page outside and when he comes back to the website, the pop up should be there in case he wants to click again. But it’s not – it closes. So, it should be a simple thing to have an option “don’t close pop up after click” or something similar. 

Any help to keep a pop up open after a click with elementor pro?
