checkout.js shortcode sending console errors

  • Since last actualization, when we post the checkout, we are getting a JS console error:

    checkout.min.js:1 Uncaught TypeError: i.appendChild is not a function
    at HTMLLIElement. (checkout.min.js:1:13382)
    at ce.each (jquery.min.js:2:3129)
    at e..each (jquery.min.js:2:1594)
    at Object.show_inline_errors (checkout.min.js:1:13135)
    at Object.success (checkout.min.js:1:11762)
    at c (jquery.min.js:2:25304)
    at Object.fireWith as resolveWith
    at l (jquery.min.js:2:77782)
    at XMLHttpRequest. (jquery.min.js:2:80265)

    If we downgrade the version of the plugin, checkout works well. Please help.

    Hi there!

    I have updated the WooCommerce plugin to the latest version, but I’m not able to see any error messages on my site.

    Could you please update WooCommerce to the latest version again and then share the following information with us so we can investigate the issue further:

    • System Status Report?which you can find via WooCommerce > Status
    • Fatal error logs?(if any) under WooCommerce > Status > Logs.

    Same issue here. On Checkout page when attempting to go to payment. The issue disappears when the Create New Account? checkbox is checked and unchecked.

    I think it’s trying to validate the password field but failing.
