How to fix a slider that stopped working

I reached out to a GoDaddy developer to help us fix the slider in the banner area on the homepage. After buying the original updated WP theme as I also realized our theme doesn’t work with updated Php, they worked on it but didn’t succeed. How might I be able to fix it? We also used WP Bakery for building the site years ago. Should we be able to fix it from there?
