Horizontal scrolling stopped working

  • Hi,

    every table on my site uses the horizontal scrolling feature and this worked fine. But this feature stopped working and I have no clue why. I did some changes to the TablePress CSS when updating to 3.0.0, but I just changed the standard colors and nothing else. The console does not show any errors. I also tried to insert a table on an empty page to make sure that no other element causes any problems. I also switched the theme, cleared the cache… I have not really an idea what the problem could be.

    Currently I can scroll the whole page in a horizontal way and not just the table content.

    Hi!

    Thanks for your post and sorry for the trouble!

    From what I can see, the cause of this is that your theme is not setting a width for the elements on the page. Due to this, the elements can expand the screen width.

    So, to make this work again, you would need to adjust your theme, but unfortunately, I don’t know what exact changes are needed.
