Plugin auto update don't work.

When I try to update a auto plugin I always get stuck at:
Downloading update from https://downloads.www.ads-software.com/plugin/akismet.2.5.1.zip…
Sometimes it sais unpacking the update but not always.
I changed the plugin folder to 755. I also ytied to change the folder to 777 but it won’t let me. The hosting account is 1 and 1 hosting.
