category positioning in screen layout

    The above is the demo link of theme I purchased. I have installed it in https://www.friendswhisper.com But my problem is I am not able to customize it the way it appears in demo. All posts I add in different categories repeatedly appears in throughout the screen layout in different columns. How to position different categories in different blocks of screen ?
    How to insert small clips as shown in the media news of the demo block ?
    If someone can help me to make my site exactly same as it appears in demo, I am ready to send some donations as goodwill.

    Once I am comfortable with all the above testing, I want to move the entire configuration to new domain also. Current area is only a test bed.
