• I would like to use the captions with the gallery and have set it up as:

    [nggallery id=3 template=caption]

which displays the first set of images with their captions – no problem. Problem occurs when clicking on the pagination to go to the next page of images, no captions and it appears that the template has reverted to the default for the gallery display.

This can be duplicated easily by creating a gallery with a number of images, and changing the images per page to half or some other number that is less than the number of images in the gallery causing pagination. When clicking to see the second page, the captions disappear.

Any ideas? I’m pretty good with code, so if you were to point me in the right direction I might be able to fix this issue.

Update: further testing has narrowed this down to the AJAX paging option as the culprit. Turning this option off has enable the captions on subpages. It would be great though if this could work with the AJAX paging option.

Yes, this is a known issue…
