How to remove private information from cajobz.com

  • Hey guys,

    So sorry to be that girl who has no idea what she’s doing. Hmm, seems to happen a lot.

    So here’s the thing. My boss placed an ad on cajobz.com with her private information. Now, 123people has managed to get it and post it all over Google. My boss (aka sister) is freaking out that her info is on the internet. I can’t figure out how to remove it. Furthermore, the more I read through these forums, I realize how incredibly dumb I am when it comes to websites!

    Ok my little genuis’ can anyone pah-lease help me figure this out? I would be indebted to you for life. Seriously. If anyone in LA helps, I can assure you that I will take you out and buy you so many drinks you won’t know what to do with yourself. Haha, I know most of you genius’ are in the Bay area so I should be good:)

  • The only way you’re likely to be able to get info removed from a site like that is by contacting the actual site owners / maintainers.

    However, if the info has since been spread around by others, not much can be done about that. Also archiving services take copies of sites.
