removing "posted by" and date

  • Hi, I have a site with about 7 pages. I want to remove the date, and the “posted by” text from all my pages except the blog. Is there a way to do this? If so, then how?

  • assuming your theme has a template file page.php, find the code for the ‘posted by’ and delete it.
    detail depend on your theme.

    OK, I went o=into the index and commented out the Date wrap div and everything inside. I also commented out, “posted by,” But this removes the date and “posted by” from the Blog page, and not the other pages. I’m confused. Can someone tell assist me?

    OK, I found page.php, and that’s what I had to edit. You had told me this right away. Sorry I misread that post.
