HELP! I accidentally deleted the DB on a new blog (only a few posts), but now the blog is down and I can’t ‘Establish A Connection’ (duh!).

How do I replace the old MySQL Database?

I even tried to reinstall by running the /wp-admin/install.php and that didn’t work either.

Do I have to actually delete all of the WP files from the server and get a fresh set of WP files?

    Ideas?

If you have nothing to loose, you delete everything and start anew.

or, you may ask your hosting provider if they have backup then they might be able to restore to the point before this problem.

Always keep a backup of of everything.
