[Plugin: Register Plus Redux] Validation of custom fields failure

  • Hi there,
    I just wanted to report the following issue I’m experiencing, could be isolated to my case only or not.
    I created a custom field with the Dropdown menu option:
    Gender: Male,Female

    During the user form registration process, it doesnt validate this field at all, and it seems to allow the registration to go through given the option Male was selected by default.

    Is this really how its supposed to be or is it a bug?

    I’m not sure I completely follow you, can you clarify a little bit more?

    What I meant is the field validation is bypassed when it comes to the Select drop down menu, since by default, the first option in the Select field is defaulted to Male, therefore it’s being acknowledged that the Gender selection was set to Male and the field validation was bypassed.
